Professional quality action photos that you can’t get with your phone!
As a parent, I know what it’s like to want to photograph your child’s milestones. When my eldest son started playing football, I wanted to have photos of him playing in his first ever team, and scoring his first goal. I tried using my phone, but I just couldn’t get close enough and keep up with the action! Other parents had the same problem.
After completing a diploma in photography, I decided to set up Matt Davenport Photography in 2019. Since then, I’ve provided over 1000 parents with action photos of their children doing what they love, including: playing football; flag football; and competing in swimming galas.
Fully insured and DBS-cleared sports photographer working with grassroots teams, academies, swimming clubs and Nuneaton Borough Football Club.
There’s no match fee, just pay for the photos that you want.
I don’t charge anything to photograph an event, so clubs don’t have to worry about paying anything upfront. My business is based on photo sales.
I’m able to provide you with high resolution digital images that are automatically emailed to you upon receipt of payment.
I work with an award-winning professional photographic lab, which can print your photos at a range of sizes and the quality is fantastic!
The majority of parents take advantage of the photo packages available, which reduce the cost you pay for digital images and prints.

Book your grassroots sports photography
I can travel to photograph teams in Nuneaton and the surrounding area, including: Bedworth, Coventry, Hinckley, Coleshill, Atherstone, Meriden, Market Bosworth, Leamington, Rugby, Lutterworth and Tamworth. As well as grassroots football and swimming, I’m able to photograph other sports, including rugby, gymnastics, cricket, netball, and basketball.

I’m always keen to photograph new sports. As well as football, I have also photographed cricket and swimming.

I don’t charge a fee to photograph a match. I rely on photo sales to run my business.

I don’t print the photos. All print orders are automatically sent to a professional photographic lab.

All orders made before 1 pm (Monday - Friday) will be printed and dispatched on the same day.

My online store uses PayPal and Stripe, which caters for debit and credit card payments as well as Apple Pay.

I usually take over 1000 photos during a match, and these will be edited down to around 300 photos.

The digital file sizes haven’t been reduced during the editing process. This means that you will be able to make large prints from them.

Yes. The photographic lab are able to print a variety of print sizes (depending on the file size. Please get in touch if you need prints that are larger than 7x5”.
