Coventry University Workshop

I was honoured to be invited to Coventry University to talk to their media students about my sports photography business. Preparing for my workshop made me realise just how far I’ve come in such a short space of time, selling my first photograph in September 2019.I must admit, it was great to see my images displayed full-screen in the lecture theatre.

With 2 hours to fill, I focussed on a range of subjects including:

  • my photography journey

  • equipment

  • camera settings

  • position

  • composition

  • light

  • workflow

  • sales

  • videography

  • commercial photography

I found the whole experience of being able to pass on my own advice to the next generation of sports photographers very rewarding. Hopefully, I’ll get another opportunity to do this again.
