The Oval witnessed a classic cup tie on Saturday as Nuneaton Town clawed back from the brink to beat the visitors in a match defined by grit and late drama. Grantham Town, famously nicknamed "The Gingerbreads" due to the town's long-standing history of gingerbread production dating back to the 1700s, certainly brought plenty of spice to the fixture.

After losing to Northern Premier League side, Carlton Town, in the First qualifying Round of the FA Cup, Nuneaton Borough hosted the Millers again at the First Class Safety Stadium, this time in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy.
